About

Dwell 2017 - Light in the Darkness

This is an opportunity for us to focus on what it means to be a people where God dwells - a temple, where heaven invades earth. Our expectation is that this year will be an extravagant celebration of God, and his presence with us and an exploration into what it means and what it looks like to carry him, his presence, his kingdom - his LIGHT! - into the world around us.

We are excited about seeing every person who comes to Dwell leave with a reinforced personal sense of ownership and responsibility of our own role in bringing heaven on earth to the world around us - of being his light and love in a very real and concrete way. This springs from intimate encounter with God, and a clear understanding of our identity and thus our authority.

Richard Pennystan

Richard has been vicar of St Chad’s Romiley since October 2011. Richard’s longing for St Chad’s is to fulfill the four dreams God has given them: that they grow in deeper maturity, experience more of God, see their community come to know Jesus and raise the next generation full of love and generosity. In his book ‘Awakening’ he shares the biblical foundations for his passion to see the Church move from hollow religion to heavenly relationship.

Richard is married to Nells and is father of four boys. Outside of church life, Richard loves cricket, cooking, reading and is fairly familiar with social media and networking! (You can follow him on Twitter as @revrlp or read his blog: https://romileyrichard.wordpress.com)

Paul & Tracey Tothill

Paul & Tracey lead Gateway International Church in Adelaide, Australia. Their vision is that Gateway should be a place where people can come to Jesus and find a community that is steadily learning how to re-represent Jesus through changed lives to provide a place of relationship, development and ultimately maturity in their faith. They believe that Jesus came into the world because He wanted to reveal God’s love to us, and bring us to the heart of the Father so we may know Him, the reality of His love and truth so we may prosper in relationship with Him and others, and reveal His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.

They have 3 adult children and they travel and minister all over the world.

Allan & Kelsie Boehm

Allan & Kelsie are originally from the US and Canada and currently live in Northern Iraq. Having just gotten married this year, their passion to see worship rise amongst the unreached and to love and serve those displaced by conflict, have lead them to work with Light a Candle locally in Iraq and the Burn 24/7 worship movement around the world.

Their heart is to simply follow God where he leads and to see people awakened to the call God has, not just to serve others overseas but to be in friendship with God and let worship be the motivation for everything. Previously, Allan has spent over 4 years working in Europe with the Burn 24/7 and David's Tent UK and Kelsie has been serving in the US, Congo, Uganda, Kenya and other various countries before moving to Iraq in 2015.
